VAROOM

Preposterous?  Yes, maybe.  On the other hand, absolutely.  But they sell.

I’m talking about the Porsche car that is specifically designed by engineers to make that one-of-kind ‘varoom’ sound when it takes off.

Do they sell, too.  Unquestionably!  In fact, the most expensive Porsche ever sold is a 1970 Porsche 917 K, chassis number 917-024, which sold for $14 million.

I had a client that came to my office for years; and he loved to make that varoom sound when he would leave.  He owned a gorgeous classic Porsche.

Why the varoom, sporty roar?  Porsche achieves its distinctive engine sound through a combination of engineering techniques focused on both the intake and exhaust systems.

Strangely enough I have met people over the years with a varoom kind of faith and remarkable countenance.  No put on.  No flash and ash.  Their life is just what it is—genuine and inspiring.

They don’t have to work-up their faith or their glowing countenance either.

The obvious engineer in their life?  The Lord Himself.
