I’m Trusting Him

It is a challenge especially today to trust people, totally trust them without any reservations whatsoever. Why? Because there have been people, family members, friends, and associates at the workplace who have let us down in the past.
I know a man who is a kind, friendly and a very religious individual. The first time I ever met him he said to me in our dialogue, “I’m trusting Him.”
I replied, “You mean the Lord.”
He said softly, “Yes.”
Then he reiterated the same message to me before I had to leave, “Yeah, I’m trusting Him.”
The root word ’fid’ for trust is in words like confidence and fidelity.
I’ve tried to remember anyone that ever expressed that attitude so deeply sincere and emphatically and I can’t. It was like his theme and even motivation for living each day.
I’m trusting Him. Needless to say I left that man with a renewed conviction and inspired desire to adopt that thought both in my head, and in my heart.
“I’m trusting Him.” Makes us think twice doesn’t it?
{Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths.}
