More Memos from the Master
No mortal can even begin to fathom the august, perfect letters and memos the Almighty has so carefully, compassionately, and majestically written to you and me. You can be certain those familiar verses that ‘pop out’ and produce such an indescribable epiphany in our spirits, do not just happen by accident. There is no accidental
move by the Master. His way and Word is perfect, purposeful and powerful! We can read the Bible a thousand times and study a verse ten thousand times, and yet that verse suddenly will come alive in our being as though we never had heard of it before. That one verse we just thought we knew and understood, we didn’t! Suddenly, the verse becomes like an incredible little letter or memo all of its own from the Almighty Himself.

Those are His intimate and divinely orchestrated love letters and notes to us. They are, in fact, words written through human instruments in order for the Almighty to share His heart with His creatures—us. The Apostle Paul’s letters are exemplary of God’s own handwriting. All the verses that speak so loudly and profoundly to you and me are given to us for God’s unique reasons. This is how He communicates with us. God wants us to know Him intimately through the handwriting of His own creatures (prophets and apostles) He created. This is why a
particular verse is so appropriate when you and I are going through a very tough trial or debilitating dilemma. God knows how to talk to us—He made us. He knows our emotional and mental make-up. He knows what is necessary to get our attention as His readers and students of His Word.

The daily battle we face is between our ears. We must not allow ourselves to be conformed to the things of this world, but by renewing our minds with the Word; we can become more than conquerors through Him who loves us. God also knows that His little love letters and memos are best communicated through verses that He has masterfully architected through the pens of men. God has so designed and crafted His letters and notes to you and me that they are the soothing solution to our broken and fearful hearts. He has that way of providing us with a salve upon an aching sore in our souls.

Just A Word
Just a word or hint from our God and King,
Reminds us that He is everything.
Little whispers of hope He imparts,
Like no other He lifts our hearts.
His Word, rich and vibrant as can be,
Comforts us, reassures us and gives us lasting
liberty.
Somehow, He provides that heavenly nudge
with love—
Inspiring you and me to keep looking above.

Matthew 6:9-13
In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
13 And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the
glory forever.
Amen.

Matthew 11:28-30
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy
laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke
upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle
and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for
your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My
burden is light.

Matthew 19:26
But Jesus looked at them and said to them,
“With men this is impossible, but with God all
things are possible.”

John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word
was with God, and the Word was God.
John 3:16-17
For God so loved the world that He gave His
only begotten Son, that whoever believes in
Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
17 For God did not send His Son into the world
to condemn the world, but that the world
through Him might be saved.

John 10:10b
I have come that they may have life, and that
they may have it more abundantly.

John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and
the life. No one comes to the Father except
through Me.
John 14:1-3
“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in
God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house
are many mansions; if it were not so, I would
have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will
come again and receive you to Myself; that
where I am, there you may be also.

John 14:27
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you;
not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not
your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

John 15:13
Greater love has no one than this, than to lay
down one’s life for his friends.
Romans 5:8
But God demonstrates His own love toward us,
in that while we were still sinners, Christ died
for us.

Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for
good to those who love God, to those who are
the called according to His purpose.
Romans 8:31
What then shall we say to these things? If God
is for us, who can be against us?

Romans 8:32
He who did not spare His own Son, but
delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not
with Him also freely give us all things?
Romans 8:35-39
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or
famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36 As it is written:
“For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”
37 Yet in all these things we are more than
conquerors through Him who loved us.
38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life,
nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things
present nor things to come,
39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing,
shall be able
to separate us from the love of God which is in
Christ Jesus our Lord.

1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has overtaken you except such as
is common to man; but God is faithful, who will
not allow you to be tempted beyond what you
are able, but with the temptation will also make
the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
1 Corinthians 13
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of
angels, but have not love, I have become
sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and
understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and
though I have all faith, so that I could remove
mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the
poor, and though I give my body to be burned,
but have not love, it profits me nothing.
4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not
envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;
5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its
own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;
6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all
things, endures all things.
8 Love never fails. But whether there are
prophecies, they will fail; whether there are
tongues, they will cease; whether there is
knowledge, it will vanish away.
9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part.
10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in
part will be done away.
11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I
understood as a child, I thought as a child; but
when I became a man, I put away childish things.
12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but
then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I
shall know just as I also am known.
13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three;
but the greatest of these is love.

2 Corinthians 4:6
For it is the God who commanded light to shine
out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to
give the light of the knowledge of the glory of
God in the face of Jesus Christ.

And let us not grow weary while doing good,
for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose
heart.

Galatians 2:20

abundantly above all that we ask or think,
according to the power that works in us,

things which happened to me have actually
turned out for the furtherance of the gospel,

peace of God, which surpasses all
understanding, will guard your hearts and minds
through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19
And my God shall supply all your need
according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-14
But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren,
concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest
you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14 For if
we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even
so God will bring with Him those who sleep in
Jesus.
Hebrews 13:5
Let your conduct be without covetousness; be
content with such things as you have. For He
Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor
forsake you.”

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
1 John 3:1-3
Behold what manner of love the Father has
bestowed on us, that we should be called
children of God! Therefore the world does not
know us, because it did not know Him.
2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it
has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but
we know that when He is revealed, we shall be
like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. 3 And
everyone who has this hope in Him purifies
himself, just as He is pure.

1 John 4:4
You are of God, little children, and have
overcome them, because He who is in you is
greater than he who is in the world.

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone
hears My voice and opens the door, I will come
in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.

Revelation 22:20-21
He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I
am coming quickly.”
Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
21The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with
you all. Amen.
