My Conversion Verse:

Romans 10:9
That if you confess with your mouth the Lord
Jesus and believe in your heart that God has
raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

When I was a young man, I read this verse, one Saturday evening. While studying this verse, the Holy Spirit began to do His divine work in my heart. As I read even further, I realized that I had never truly confessed with my mouth the Lord Jesus and believed in my heart that God had raised him from the dead.

Ironically, the next morning when I attended my Sunday school class, Mr. Dobson, the teacher, taught from this same verse. Then later, as I entered the church worship center, our pastor arose and preached from the same verse. I knew then, I needed Christ in my life. On that Easter Sunday morning, 1961, I committed my life to
the Lord and made my public confession of faith.

I call this verse my conversion verse. The following scriptures that I meditate upon are just like all those preceding memos from God. These great verses remind me of my valued and cherished relationship to Him. That personal and intimate relationship is the key to inner peace and supernatural power from above. This is my story; I have given you healing and helpful verses—dynamic Memos from God.

My Life Verse:

No verse in the Bible has given me more comfort, calmness, assurance, inner power, and strength than 2 Timothy 1:7. This verse has aided me through my worst fears and most perplexing times upon this planet. God has helped me through many dark, and disturbing moments. He has done so with the Apostle Paul’s encouraging memo to a young minister named Timothy. This one verse has become my life verse and always will be. I hope and pray it will provide you with the same strength and support it has given me. This verse is my most cherished memo from God.

2 Timothy 1:7

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of
power and of love and of a sound mind.
